With 250 affiliated physicians across 114 locations spanning 9 states in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic, we combine clinical excellence with a collaborative culture that empowers our physicians to grow, innovate, and thrive.
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Ophthalmologist to join our expanding team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive medical and surgical eye care while partnering closely with our network of ophthalmologists, optometrists, and clinical staff to deliver an outstanding patient experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive eye examinations and diagnose a wide range of ocular diseases and conditions.
- Develop individualized treatment and management plans to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
- Perform surgical procedures such as cataract extraction, glaucoma surgery, and other anterior segment interventions.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including optometrists, technicians, and administrative staff—to ensure continuity and quality of care.
- Educate patients on ocular health, treatment options, and preventive measures.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and uphold the highest clinical and ethical standards.
- Stay current on advances in ophthalmology and emerging technologies that enhance patient care.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of an accredited Ophthalmology residency program; fellowship training welcomed, depending on subspecialty needs.
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Ophthalmology.
- Eligible for or currently holding an unrestricted Connecticut medical license.
- Possession of, or ability to obtain, a Connecticut CDS registration and DEA certificate.
