Practice Overview
- You'll join an established eye care department with ophthalmology and optometry support
- Focus on full-scope general ophthalmology with an emphasis on cataract and glaucoma surgery
- Built-in patient volume with a large existing referral pipeline and limited regional competition
- Supported by 3 optometrists and an experienced team of technicians handling testing and optical services
Schedule
- Full-time employed position based entirely in one location
- Consistent patient volume with opportunities to build a busy surgical practice quickly
- Blend of clinic and surgical responsibilities within a full-scope ophthalmology practice
- Established infrastructure allows you to focus on patient care and procedural work
Compensation & Benefits
- Guaranteed base salary of $450,000-$475,000 for the first two years
- RVU-based production model from day one with upside beyond the guarantee
- $100,000 sign-on bonus paid over four years
- $20,000 relocation assistance plus 6 weeks of paid time off annually
Candidate Requirements
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Ophthalmology
- Surgical experience or training in cataract and glaucoma procedures
- Open to experienced physicians and upcoming residency graduates
- Strong interest in developing a long-term practice within a growing service area
