Description
We are a small, independent comprehensive ophthalmology clinic and optical shop in beautiful Missoula, Montana seeking a comprehensive ophthalmologist. Our clinic has a reputation for excellence in customer service and patient care offering medical and surgical eye care in western Montana. Over 35 years we have built an exceptional staff and culture, a significant patient volume and a reliable referral network.
Recently one of our comprehensive ophthalmologists with over 35 years of excellent service to the western Montana region has paused his practice abruptly due to an unexpected medical event. Our other comprehensive ophthalmologist has increased her schedule to accommodate some of his patients, but we have a considerable population of established patients waiting for eye care.
We believe this provides a unique opportunity for an ophthalmologist to provide essential eye care for many patients currently on our waiting list. We can offer the opportunity to work with a great team of experienced staff, access to a considerable volume of established patients, a flexible schedule and a percentage of revenue generated. We can also offer flexibility on the term or duration of contract. We hope to find an ophthalmologist willing to stay on for at least a year with the option for a longer-term practice if mutually agreeable. We are glad to tailor the terms of an agreement to the needs of the right candidate.
Another significant benefit is the chance to live and practice in the vibrant community of Missoula. As a university town there is a great artistic culture with many events, activities and opportunities for community engagement. In addition, the surrounding pristine Montana landscape offers immediate access to a wide range of opportunities for outdoor recreation all year long.
We hope you will consider this unique opportunity and look forward to discussing with you further how you might join our team in providing excellence in ophthalmology to Missoula and surrounding communities.
