Description
American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Operating Room position in Boston requiring an active MA RN license and a minimum of 2 years of OR circulating experience.
Details
- Hospital-based Operating Room (OR) setting
- Ambulatory surgical cases including sports medicine, ENT, GYN, GU, ophthalmology, plastics, general, oral, and minor vascular procedures
- 4x10-hour day/evening rotation with start times of 6:30a, 9a, or 11a depending on departmental needs
- No weekends, no major holidays, and no on-call required
- 13-week contract
Requirements
- Active MA RN license required
- BLS certification required; CNOR preferred
- Minimum 2 years of OR circulating experience required; scrub experience strongly preferred
- Experience with ambulatory surgical cases preferred (sports medicine, ENT, GYN, GU, ophthalmology, plastics, general, oral, minor vascular)
- Must pass the Relias Advanced Dysrhythmia Test (A or B) prior to placement
- Valid, non-expired driver's license required for consideration
- Two professional references required — at least one must be from a manager-level or above, one must be within the last 12 months, and the other within the last 3 years; references from other travelers are not accepted
Additional Information
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
- Local candidates residing within 50 miles may be considered at a local rate
