Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for an Operating Room position requiring prior travel experience and multi-specialty surgical skills including Ortho, General, Neuro, Vascular, and Urology.
Details
- Work in a hospital Operating Room environment
- Surgical specialties include Orthopedics, General Surgery, Neurosurgery, Vascular, and Urology
- Preferred experience with Da Vinci robotic surgery, endovascular procedures, and ophthalmology
- Schedule is 4x10-hour shifts (10:30–21:00) with a rotating day off plus call
- Epic EMR used; experience preferred
Requirements
- Active TX or Compact RN license required
- Minimum 1.5 years of OR nursing experience required
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Experience across multiple OR specialties (Ortho, General, Neuro, Vascular, Urology) required
- 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
Additional Information
- Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position
- Candidates residing in the following TX counties are not eligible: Henderson, Anderson, Cherokee, Rusk, Panola, Smith, Gregg, Van Zandt, Wood, Upshur, Camp, Hopkins, Franklin, Titus, and Morris
- Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before being eligible to return as a traveler
- Travel pairs or groups will not be considered
- No more than 3 days of RTO will be auto-approved; no RTO is permitted during the first week of orientation
- First-time travelers should refer to position details for eligibility
